Still struggling w/ passing California smog with my Miata. The P0012 code is quite sticky, and I’ve spent over $300 to date trying to resolve it. I just applied for the BAR CAP (Consumer Assistance Program) to get some money towards further repairs like looking at the timing belt + gears. Hopefully, they’ll get back to me with an approval within 2 weeks. Overall, though, really exhausted + disappointed I wasn’t able to find a way to pass smog today. Even drove highways to try to set all the monitors, but ended up just setting the CEL before the monitors were ready.
On the bright side, got Boichik bagels, fruits, and veggies today!
