just wrapped up our short visit to Miami! overall thoughts of the city
- very car-dominant
- didn’t get a chance to use public transit as uber/lyft was quite affordable and transit was expensive and was a bit inconvenient and slow (a 15-min drive often was a 50 minute transit)
- quite terrible drivers
- surprisingly expensive for food and activities, didn’t know it would be comparable to the Bay Area (lowkey more expensive)
- seems rent is expensive for the level of income in the area asw
- so so many yachts!!! and mega yachts!!!
- even with attractions, mid-ass city for the middle to low income 😭 ig anywhere is fun when you can afford a yacht
- lots of nice cars, Porsches in particular
- great Caribbean food fs
